MRM Metabolic Whey Protein Supplement, Chocolate, 10-Pound Jar We have been ordering this Whey Protein for several years now and have found it to be consistently excellent. Unlike a lot of other protein powders, it is readily miscible in any liquid (it isn’t thick or chalky) and is absolutely delicious. We put it on top of cereal and make shakes out of it.

You will love it! MRM: MRM Metabolic Whey is a delicious, creamy, 100-percent whey protein formula. Loaded with BCAA’s and Glutamine, this unique protein blend Meta-Pro is bioengineered to increase muscle size, strength and promote lean body mass.

Meta-Pro delivers an optimal source of whey protein, produced by a state-of-the-art, low temperature, ultra-filtration process. This unique processing yields a high biological value protein, rich in branched chain amino acids and glutamine for advanced recovery. This provides increased nitrogen retention without causing indigestion, stomach cramps or pains. In addition, Meta-Pro is fortified with cross flow, ultra-filtered whey protein isolate and nitrozyme. The addition of nitrozyme helps break down long and short chain peptides into smaller, more readily absorbable amino acids for maximum absorption and digestion.

The problem with the high protein diet used by many athletes and dieters is that the body is unable to naturally digest and absorb high amounts of protein at one time. Nitrozyme helps the body release more amino acids from ingested protein than the action of digestible enzymes alone. When an athlete takes Metabolic Whey, the body can absorb more free amino acids directly into the muscle tissue, which helps to increase muscle size, strength and lean body mass. This protein formula is chocolate flavored.

Simple steps to good nutrition

January 30th, 2010

Although the importance of good nutrition has been high in recent years, many people continue to neglect the basic principles of healthy eating. What we eat and how many plays a large role in determining our longevity and the likelihood of developing fatal diseases such as cancer and heart disease. More importantly, this is one facet of the health equation that we are in control and have the power to change for the better. Beingaware of the important aspects of good nutrition are the first step towards a healthier life and happier.

Good nutrition can be decomposed into several simple guidelines that most people overlook:

1. Take a well-balanced meal

2. Only eat during normal times and avoid snacking

3. Take vitamins and minerals on a regular basis

4. Drinking water

5. Know what you eat and make sure it is healthy

6. Watch your weightoverall health and know that when these two are out of line you need to adjust things

WELL balanced meal

As we all know today a well-balanced meal consists of four basic food groups including: dairy, meat / protein, fruits / vegetables and breads / cereals. Due to individual tastes and inclinations we often find that one of these numbers is not to our taste. However, they are all needed and if one group does not appeal to you because of taste or a medical examination(state of lactose intolerance, etc.) then you must find another way to get protein and essential nutrients contained in this food group. Often it is simply to do a little research and find something you like.

Eat at proper time

The first of them was well known for some time now. Eat meals at regular hours of breakfast, lunch and dinner and avoid the snacks is by far the healthiest approach and leads to a much lower risk of excessweight gain or the unwanted calories. Eating when you feel hungry easily turns into a habit, and when that happens it is much harder to crack than simply being disciplined in the first place. A caveat to this is that in some cases, snacks are necessary and recommended. It is often found in glucose tolerance / intolerance diseases, such as hyper and hypoglycemia and diabetes mellitus. Consult your doctor if you feel you may have one of these diseases.

Take vitamins andMINERAL

Vitamins and minerals play an important role in health care because even following the guidelines of a balanced meal important minerals and vitamins are often ignored. This is why almost all of us will need dietary supplements of some kind. If you want to know exactly what you miss you must schedule a consultation with a dietitian or doctor.

DRINKING WATER

Alcohol simply several glasses of water a day can do wonders for our health and digestivesystem. Although many like to think of other beverages are equivalent to water, this proved to be false. There are many views of how much water is recommended for the average person. Simple searches and self-monitoring can help you find the right amount.

KNOW WHAT YOU EAT

Most people have the habit of reading the ingredients of foods they eat. If you do not then it's time to start. You need to know what are the additives in your food and how she was treatedand grown, if possible. Many additives are unhealthy and harmful to health. Ask, ask questions and know what is in the foods you eat and how it affects your overall health. You owe it to yourself.

MONITORING OF THE HEALTH AND WEIGHT and adjust accordingly

The last step to a healthy diet is simply to monitor yourself and determine if what you do is give you the results you want or not. If not, it is likely that something has to adapt. Beknowledge that a good diet is not enough by itself to a healthy life. We also need exercise and other aspects of general health care that can not be neglected. Nutrition is a very important element of the situation but do not overlook other aspects of health care.
